Training:
New franchisees attend our three week classroom and field training program at our Richmond, Virginia Training Center. Training is provided in all aspects of the business including:
- marketing and advertising
- sales methodology
- project design
- technology – SoftPlan (CAD-based design software), Business Manager (proprietary pricing software), and QuickBooks
- business and office administration systems
- construction basics – including field training
- production management
The owner typically works normal business hours with primary focus on:
- Sales and marketing
- Client meetings and design appointments
- Business management and financials
- Employee onboarding
- Networking with builders, landscapers, architects, pool companies, and strategic partners for referral business
- Scheduling jobs
- Communication with clients and sub-contractors

In most regions of the country, sales and construction of outdoor living spaces are most demanding between the months of February and September – with extremely high volume from March through June.
